Privacy notice

Who we are

Ellabridge is a trading name of Nicholas Shoot, a sole trader based in North Lincolnshire, UK. We are the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us at technology@ellabridge.co.uk.

What this website collects

The pages on this site do not set cookies and do not load analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. There is no sign-in and no contact form. The fonts are served from this site itself, so your browser does not contact a font provider. We do not run our own access logging or analytics.

Hosting

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, run by GitHub, Inc. (part of Microsoft). As with any web host, GitHub receives technical details of your request, such as your IP address, when your browser loads a page. GitHub may process data outside the UK. See GitHub’s privacy statement for how it handles that data.

If you email us

If you write to us we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you tell us. We use this to reply to you and to discuss possible work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: it is in our interest, and usually in yours, for us to respond to people who contact us. Please do not send passwords, confidential personal data or sensitive infrastructure details in a first email.

Email is handled in Microsoft 365, where Microsoft acts as our service provider. We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the providers that help us run email and hosting, or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with it and, if we work together, for the length of the work and the period needed for ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete or restrict it, or object to how we use it. Write to technology@ellabridge.co.uk and we will reply. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Changes

If we change how the site handles personal data, for example by adding a contact form, we will update this notice first.
